Muskego Lakes Family Newsletter
April 19, 2024
Dear Muskego Lakes Families,
It's been a busy week here at Muskego Lakes with our students Forward testing!
We know that all of you have played a huge role in this week being a success, so thank you!
We appreciate you for helping students remember to bring headphones, for helping students remember to charge their Chromebooks, for helping ensure they get a good night's sleep, and for giving them all the encouragement they need.
We have been beyond impressed with students' efforts throughout the week and how they showed up to support one another during testing. They truly took their time and did their best to demonstrate their growth as learners, and we can't wait to celebrate their growth and success when we get their results back. Weeks like this take perseverance, determination, and heart- so we are really proud of our Muskies!
Not only did students do their best on their Forward tests, but they also showed up for one another. All week we heard kids around the school building one another up about doing well on their tests, sharing how confident they felt after taking an exam and helping to remind their peers about schedule changes due to testing.
So while your child's academic progress is our number one priority, we are grateful for the many ways they live out our school vision each day and make Muskego Lakes a great place to be!
In partnership,
Rachel and Nancy
Muskego Lakes Principals

MLMS PTO Seat Fundraiser
If you are looking to help out the MLMS PTO and maybe win some reserved seats, then we encourage you to check out the MLMS PTO Seat Fundraiser! Your student should have brought home the flier shown below earlier this week. Click on the image if you want to print one at home.
Does your student start their day at MHS?
7th & 8th grade students that start their day at Muskego High School are not to report to Muskego High School for their classes on Tuesday, April 23rd because of the high school Community Service Day for all classes. We ask that students who normally start their day at MHS report to Muskego Lakes at the start of the day and report to the library on each of these days.
Lost & Found
Is your child missing something? We have quite the collection of lost and found here at school. Encourage your child to stop outside student services and check for their item.
Shown below are the upcoming co-curricular events at Muskego Lakes.
If a change occurs from the date of this newsletter, we post on Infinite Campus in the announcement section. We commit to letting students/families know about changes and updating Infinite Campus announcements as soon as possible once we've been notified of a change.
