Referendum Vote Results
On Tuesday, April 2, 2024 the voters in Brighton School District #1 passed the referendum question that was on the ballot.
The results of the polls were as follows:
54.17% Yes
45.83% No
On behalf of the Board of Education, staff, and our students, we sincerely thank you for your support. Your support makes it clear that the citizens of Brighton School District #1 place a high value on their local school and the children who enter this building for a high quality education daily.
We are now able to move forward with even more confidence and purpose to provide high quality education, and a safe and positive environment that will continue to bring value to this community for many years to come. In the spirit of fiscal accountability, we are committed to responsible use of school funds to conservatively manage our operational needs and district budget to reflect efficient use of resources. Please be assured that budgeting and financial decisions are carefully monitored and will continue to pass all state and federal audits.
