SPARTAN News--WMSHS

Graduation on May 23 at 7:00 will now be inside the Spartan Center. This decision was made due to the prediction of a rain on Monday-Wednesday which will make it difficult to set up for an outside ceremony. Even though, the ceremony will now be indoors, seating will not be limited. The Spartan Center is a large facility and there will be ample seating for all that wish to attend the ceremony.

Seniors should plan to arrive at 6:00 in the middle school gym!

I will be continuing to meet with absent students and students who did not finish their ideas for their schedules on Monday, May 20.

Letter have been sent out via email for summer school. Please make sure you sign your student up if you have not already done so if they have received an invitation. The link for signing up your high schooler or middle school student for summer school is below.

These are the dates and times for summer school:

• June 11-13; 18-20; 25-27

• July 9-11; 16-18

The session times are from 9-11:30 each day.

Keep in mind that the last 3 days of school for middle and high school students will have an altered schedules due to exams. The schedule is below:

3rd hour exam: 8:00-9:20

1st hour: 9:24-10:00

2nd hour: 10:04-10:46

Lunches are normal

4th hour is normal

6th hour exam: 12:16-1:36

7th hour exam: 1:40-3:00

Wednesday, May 29 (Dismissal at 11:15)

1st hour exam: 8:00-9:20

2nd hour exam: 9:24-10:46

4th hour: 10:50-11:15

Thursday, May 30, 2024 (Dismissal at 11:15)--No WTC for a.m. WTC students!

4th hour exam: 8:00-9:20

5th hour exam: 9:24-10:46

6th hour: 10:50-11:15

• May 20: Parent FAFSA Q & A Night @6:00
  
• May 21: Future 6th grade parent meeting (after recognition) at 3:30 in the WMSHS cafeteria
  
• May 21: 8th grade graduation/breakfast (parents are invited to attend) at 8:30
• May 21: 8th grade (future freshmen) parent meeting at 6:00 in the WMSHS cafeteria
• May 22: 8th grade visit to WTC--students should turn in their permission slip if you have not already done so
• May 28: Middle (5:30) and High School (7:00) Award Night
  
• May 23: Graduation (7:00 p.m.); Senior Breakfast starting at 8:30
