Blessing and Official Opening of our new builds - Wednesday 24 March at Dawn
We invite all members of our school and wider community to come along for this occasion. Please diarise the event and we will get more details out to you next week.
REACH Values in action
Having children who can "do the right thing, at the right time, for the right reason" is hugely beneficial to all other children and adults within our kura.
It is a privilege to be able to teach in classes, where children are excited about their learning. It is fantastic to work with children who know how they may improve, adjust and apply the support offered.
We have a beautiful group of children, talented staff and very supportive parents, ParentLInk and Board of Trustees. Inglewood Primary is a fantastic place to be indeed.
Student Reflections - Moment in Time
Learning Goal: Be able to make the reader relive my moment and add some juicy words enjoy
BOOM!!!!!! ARRRRGGGGHHHH a massive pain, super sharp like a knife stabbing a box and cutting straight through. It was like evil thundering. I was shocked by the thunder. I was electrified, even you can see the burning like fire.
Then All of a sudden my veins were bulging and blood was rushing through my body and my heart was racing with fear.
When I was shocked, it was so loud, like really loud, like a gunshot.
Author Jake Dobson
Illustrator Jake Dobson
Hey Jake Dobson here this story I wrote actually happened 2 weeks ago when I went out to see the calves. I tested the electric fence with my two fingers and I got a little tingle then, I'm like oh it's fine. That was only a little tingle right, but no but you' re wrong. I put my whole arm on there and i got a MASSIVE shock. It was so big, it made a big clap sound like a gunshot as you can tell in the story.

School Gala - 20 March - please please help needed.
Inglewood Primary School’s Gala is fast approaching on Saturday 20th March from 10am until 2pm. Many hands make light work and we need parent help to make this event successful. We have nine stalls that need manning between the hours of 9am until 3pm (set up to pack up) approximately 60 parents throughout the day. Can you give us an hour, two hours or three hours of your time?
Please text Kirsty on 021 404 430 if you can help by Monday 15th March to have your name added to the roster. This Gala is going to be a fun event to raise much needed funds to help with projects around the school for our children. We look forward to hearing from you so that this event can be as successful as possible.
Moni Money presale for Gala Fun
The School Gala will have stalls that run mostly on Moni Money (apart from our Market Stall Holders, Cake Stall and Raffles) and we would love to have you prepay for this by Internet Banking.
