Dear Alta Mesa Families,

I hope everyone's Spring Break was an amazing one!! We are ready to welcome students back for the final push to the end of the year! We ended March in an amazing fashion and look forward to April. A reminder to parents that there is no school on Monday, April 8th. We will be welcoming students back on Tuesday, April 9th.

The Enterprise Elementary School district is once again partnering with the City of Redding and offering Summer vouchers for families. These vouchers, worth up to $175, are great for Summer activities around Redding. Please see the the voucher information in the community section of the newsletter.

The California Highway Patrol will be hosting our annual Bike Safety Rodeo for 2nd-5th grade students. Students may bring their bikes to school this day with their helmets. CHP will also provide bikes and helmets for students who are unable to bring them. They will have a small bike course to help students learn how to better handle their bikes and review pertinent safety protocols for students.

All Alta Mesa 1st and 2nd Grade students will be able to participate in Swim Lessons provided in partnership with Sun Oaks. Sun Oaks staff provide these swim lessons. Life guards will be on duty and students will be in heated pools. This is a fantastic opportunity for our primary students to learn the basics of swimming all the way through to more advanced lessons. On the days that lessons will be happening please provide a change of clothes and swim attire for your child. If you have any questions or would not like your child to participate please call our office.

We are currently in our open enrollment period. We are enrolling students both in the district and out of the district. You can begin the enrollment process by clicking HERE.

**REMEMBER** You do not have to re-register your child if he/she is already an Alta Mesa student.

Yearbooks are on sale starting Monday, January 22nd. This year the yearbooks will be purchased from the school, not online. If you would like to purchase a yearbook, please bring cash or a check (made payable to Alta Mesa School) to the office. Please see the flyer below for more information.
