Principal's Message...
Welcome back, Mavericks! The beginning of the year (outside of the crazy hot weather) is my favorite time of the year. I love the excitement of a new school year, seeing you friends and meeting new ones. It's filled with hope, excitement, and without the pressure of assignments and work. It's all the fun without the stress. So great. As we start the year, I wanted to share a few updates.
- STAFF: All of our teaching and office staff are back for the 24/25 school year. We have a new Intervention Teacher-Mrs. Varela, and Mental Health Specialist-Mrs. J, Psych-Mr. Bahadori, and Nurses-Mrs. Takahashi and Mrs. Borovinsky. Great stuff and we can't wait for you to meet them.
- 24/25 SCHEDULES: We have posted the 24/25 schedules K-12 on our website. Be sure to take a look.
- NEEDS ASSESSMENT: Please take two minutes and complete this survey from Mrs. Wijnhamer so we can get a pulse on what families are looking to learn more about and your goals for the upcoming school year.
- PTA: We are excited to welcome Amber Weiser as our new PTA President. She will be joined by previous board members: Janice Kim, Treasurer, Tara Hirose, Secretary. They will be kicking off our Maverick 180 Campaign. Please consider joining our PTA. They do so much for our school.
We hope your first week was terrific and we are looking forward to an awesome school year. Please check out additional updates below. As always, if you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.
