Chamisa Families,

We had over 100 families at our annual Literacy Night!! Thank you to our Families, Students, Teachers and PTO for a fun Literacy Night. Students and their families had story time, dinner, fun games and prizes.

We have had 71 days of school so far this year.

If a student has already missed 7 days of school, that is 10% of the school year. Please remember that parents get 10 days of Parent Excused Absences per school year. After the 10 Parent Excused Days have been used, all absences become "Unexcused". Only Administration or a Dr. Note can excuse absences after the 10 Parent Excused Absences are used before the end of the school year. We don't want any student to fall to far behind in school due to non-attendance.

Sixth graders showed off their Drums Alive skills to their kinderbuddies. They taught their buddies some skills. Well done!
