Liberty Family Newsletter
May 2024

Dear Liberty Families,
As we reach the end of another school year, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your support throughout the year. Your partnership in your child's education has been invaluable, and we are truly grateful for the trust you have placed in us to educate and care for your children throughout the year.
As we reflect on the past year, we are filled with pride at the growth and success we have witnessed in each and every one of our students. It has been a joy to watch them learn, develop new skills, and overcome challenges. We encourage you to take this time to celebrate their achievements, both big and small, and to recognize the hard work and dedication they have shown throughout the year.
Thank you once again for your support, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the upcoming school year.
All Abilities Spirit Week
Liberty Fun Run
The Liberty Fun Run is being put on by Boosterthon. Students will be raising money for our PBIS program, art program, and inclusive playground equipment! Fun Run fundraisers are an exciting and effective way for elementary schools to raise funds while promoting physical activity and a sense of community. Students gather pledges from friends and family for their run, creating a direct correlation between their physical efforts and the funds raised. This approach not only cultivates a healthy lifestyle, but also instills a sense of responsibility and accomplishment.
The Liberty Fun Run event day is on Friday, May 17, 2024. It is taking place during the school day. 1st Grade families are invited to watch the Fun Run from 9:30-10:00 and 2nd Grade families are invited to watch the Fun Run from 10:30-11:00. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved indoors and families will not be able to attend. This decision will be made and communicated 24 hours in advance.
At school between May 9th and May 17th, students will participate in daily activities and challenges that relate to Boosterthon’s theme of the year - “World Changer Workshop.” Please click the green button below to read the Fun Run FAQ document that outlines further questions and answers.

Safe Routes to School: Caregiver Survey
Dear Parent or Caregiver,
Your child’s school wants to learn your thoughts about children walking and biking to school. This survey will take about 5 - 10 minutes to complete. We ask that each family complete only one survey per school your children attend. If more than one child attends the same school, please fill out the survey for the child with the next birthday from today’s date. Your responses will be kept confidential and neither your name nor your child’s name will be associated with any results.
Thank you for participating in this survey!
Aramark Food Services Survey
Aramark is pleased to present the Student ViewPOINT survey to gather valuable feedback from students and parents. The survey is available in two versions: one for middle and high school students and another for parents of elementary-level students. Parents can take the elementary-level survey with or without their children, and their feedback will aid us in enhancing our food service program. We look forward to hearing from you!
Please note the information below:
When: The survey will run for five weeks, from April 8 to May 13, 2024.
Please find the following important information regarding the food service program survey. The survey is an electronic form that can be filled out easily on any device and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Your participation is essential as it will help us to improve the food service program. To access the survey, please click on www.studentVP.com and enter the passcode '2024' when prompted for security purposes. For elementary students, a letter with a QR code is attached that you can send home, share via email, or post on your class DOJO. Please share the letter and/or the flyer containing the QR code with middle school students to help spread the word. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.
We sincerely hope you will join us in this important initiative to help us enhance our service to North Ridgeville students. Your feedback is invaluable to us. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me at lesliemckimmie@nrcs.net or 440-353-1138.
