Keeping Up with Comm Arts
~ November 18, 2024 ~
Hello Comm Arts Family and Friends!
As we approach Thanksgiving week, we want to express gratitude for sharing your most precious gifts. Your children are wonderful, and we feel truly fortunate to have the opportunity to serve them. Wishing you a restful Thanksgiving week!
The library will be closed for a district-required inventory from November 18th to November 22nd. During this time, the library will not be accessible, including checkouts, returns, and in-person visits.
This Thursday, November 21st during Comm Arts lunch, we’re excited to celebrate Turkey Fest! Many of our awesome campus organizations and student groups will be serving up some delicious food. Just a quick note: you’ll need to bring cash to buy your goodies, so make sure to plan ahead.
Grades will be collected this Friday, November 22nd, for progress reports. Students, please keep track of your grades and attendance. Progress reports will be available via HAC on Monday, December 2nd.

Spanish Spelling Bee
Comm Arts held a mini Spelling Bee last Wednesday. Dana Cifuentes won the Spanish Spelling Bee and will represent us at the district competition on December 4th at the Northside Activity Center. Lincoln Smith took second place, and Sebastian Lopez earned third place. All the participants were outstanding; they even had a few rounds with no eliminations! Thank you, Mrs. Navarro, for hosting this event.

Last week in AP World History, sophomores embarked on an exciting journey through time as they delved into the adventurous lives of famous explorers. From the high seas to uncharted territories, students uncovered the thrilling tales of discovery and adventure that shaped our world!
Signing Ceremony
Congratulations to Madissyn Harris on her commitment to playing soccer at St. Mary's University. We enjoyed attending her signing ceremony last Friday.
