School Theme - Unlock Your Potential
Our school theme this year is Unlock Your Potential. Last spring students were presented with a few themes and this year's theme was voted the most popular. Students have already completed many activities to identify ways in which they will be able to unlock their potential. We are all capable of accomplishing tasks and challenges that we didn't know possible. This theme will be used as a guide to challenge one another to complete assignments that unlock our potential.

P-ACT October 5
Attention 8th grade families: the P-ACT will be administered to all 8th grade students on Saturday, October 5 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at Jay Stream Middle School. This assessment is used by District 87 to assist with the placement of freshman level courses. It is important to note that there will be no makeup test, so please make arrangements to attend the test.
Student Handbook Highlight - After School Spectators
All students attending athletic events will be expected to display good sportsmanlike conduct toward fans and players from other schools, as well as game officials. Poor behavior and sportsmanship may cause those students to lose the right to attend future athletic events or other extra curricular activities.
If a student is planning to attend an after school sport, they must meet in the cafeteria after the dismissal bell where they will be supervised. Once the sport is ready to begin, the sports supervisor will usher the students to the student section, either in the gymnasium or on the bleachers in the field.
Sports Schedule
Wednesday - Soccer @ Glenside
Thursday - Volleyball @ Hubble --- Cross Country vs Edison
