Principal's Message
Dear Patterson Elementary School Community,
I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement as we embark on another wonderful initiative to celebrate literacy and support our school community. It’s my pleasure to announce that Patterson Elementary will be participating in Read Across America, a nationwide celebration of reading, literacy, and Dr. Seuss's birthday!
Throughout the week, our school will be buzzing with activities and events aimed at fostering a love for reading among our students. From special story times to themed dress-up days, there will be plenty of opportunities for our young readers to immerse themselves in the joy of books and storytelling.
But that’s not all! In conjunction with Read Across America, we are thrilled to kick off our Read-a-Thon fundraiser. This initiative aims to raise funds to support various essential aspects of our school, including teacher reimbursements, the development of outdoor classrooms, and the creation of flexible seating options for our students.
Your support is crucial in ensuring the success of our Read-a-Thon fundraiser. Whether it’s through participating in reading challenges, seeking sponsorships from family and friends, or simply spreading the word about this fantastic opportunity, every contribution makes a significant difference in enhancing the educational experience for our students.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our incredible Patterson Elementary community for your unwavering support and dedication to our school. Your generosity and commitment truly make a difference in the lives of our students and staff, and we are immensely grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a caring and compassionate community.
Together, let’s make this Read Across America celebration and Read-a-Thon fundraiser a resounding success! Thank you for your continued support and for being an integral part of the Patterson Elementary family.
Very Sincerely,
Kristin Dil
Principal of Patterson Elementary
