Spring TCAP testing starts next week. Please make a note that we will be begin testing on Tuesday, April 15th and will finish on Friday, April 25th. Please avoid scheduling appointments earlier than 11:00 a.m. on these days if at all possible because we will be testing each morning on these days.

CGIS Hawks are ready to SOAR! We encourage you to make sure students are well rested and ready to go! Healthy breakfasts will help your child be fueled for a morning of testing!

Flight Camp invitations were sent home on April 4th, to students who were recommended by their teachers. They need to be returned to the front office by April 17th. The evening performance of Spring Sing in the Smokies is tonight, Friday, April 11, 2025 at 6:00pm at East Maryville Baptist Church. Please come support these students and enjoy a wonderful musical performance!

7th grade IMMUNIZATION REMINDER

All students entering 7th grade are required to have the following immunizations PRIOR to Monday, August 04, 2025.

Tetanus-diphtheria-pertussis booster (“T-dap”)

Verification of immunity to Varicella (chicken pox): 2 doses or history (dates) of disease – either must be documented.

For your student to start school at Coulter Grove Intermediate School on Monday, August 04, 2025, an updated immunization record, printed on the OFFICIAL “Tennessee Department of Health Certificate of Immunization” form, must be provided to the school.

PLEASE use these next few months to get your child’s immunizations updated and PRINTED ON THE CORRECT FORM. Your health care provider or the local health department can do this.

If, for religious reasons, your child is exempt from immunizations, please stop by the school clinic and sign a “Religious Exemption” form before August 04, 2025.
