A Message from Ms. Peterson
Hello MCP3 Families!
It feels as if December is flying by!
This time of year can bring lots of mixed emotions for us all. The excitement of the fun and festivities we have to look forward to can bring us joy, yet the hustle and bustle of preparing, planning, and shopping can at times leave us feeling overwhelmed. In these moments, it is important to remember the reason for the celebrations and to count our blessings. Check out one way we are teaching our scholars, through song, to help them pause and take a minute when they are having big feelings. It is called the S.T.A.R. Song.
When you're feeling really (insert feeling word; angry, sad, anxious, etc.), no matter where we are, there's a way to feel better. There's a way to be a STAR!
With this one thing to remember you'll stop (insert feeling word here; anger, frustration, stressed, etc.) in its tracks. Just Stop....take a deep breath....and relax.
Be sure to ask your child how this S.T.A.R. Song strategy has helped them.
Here are a few important reminders and updates for the next couple of weeks:
Q1 Parent/Family Survey
We want to hear from you and how you think MCP(3) is doing so far this year. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and let us know your thoughts of what is going well for you and your child as well as suggestions for getting better! Click on the link below for the survey ~ your input is invaluable to our continuous improvement efforts!!

We look forward to your participation in our developmental screening process! If you choose not to complete the questionnaire, we ask that you email Ms. Peterson @ allison.peterson@mkeprep.com.
