Phoenix Notes

This month we will begin our first set of state tests, the PSAT! This is a time we love. It gives our students time to shine and show themselves and others how much they know. Students should come prepared on that day, test ready. It will give them an idea about the test, what to expect, and what they can improve on prior to the test in the spring.

We will also have our first round of End of Course Assessments in core classes. Please encourage your student to be prepared this month as all assessments we sit for are important.

Homecoming is here! The week of October 14th we will have a little fun as Senate hosts Spirit Week, the Parade, Pep Rally, and the Homecoming Dance. Our football team will play the Homecoming Game on Thursday night at 7pm. We invite parents to line up on the parade route and come to the game later that evening, however, parents and families will not be allowed in the pep rally.

Looking forward to playing hard and working even harder.

PowerSchool provides up to date information on student grades and attendance. Parents should have their own access to PowerSchool. Parents should obtain password access information from the main office, Monday - Friday from 8am - 3:30pm.
