I hope everyone is staying warm and healthy! We have been enjoying the music of one of my father's favorite musicians - Ravi Shankar.

Ravi Shankar began performing when he was just 10 years old. He spent 7 years learning to play the sitar (a guitar-like instrument popular in Indian music). He enjoyed composing in the Indian Classical style and also mixing that style with other styles from around the world, making him the Godfather of World Music. He won 4 Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement award for his music and his daughters, Anoushka Shankar and Norah Jones, are also incredible musicians and composers, just like their dad.
