π This Week's Events
Monday, June 10th
Field Day for preschool through Grade 2 classes. Grade 7 students will be assisting at the activity stations today. A message was sent out to families earlier in the week that indicated the color each class should wear for Field Day if you have that color shirt. Please donβt go out to purchase a new shirt for the day-any shirt is fine.
Students will be getting a frozen treat during Field Day. Please be sure to apply sunscreen on your child prior to coming to school and send your child in with a water bottle that they can refill at the water stations we will have set up. A hat would be suggested, especially if your child is very fair or burns easily, just in case we end up with a very sunny day.
Tuesday, June 11th
We have our Kindergarten students graduating at 9:30 am. This event will be held in our gym/cafeteria.
Grades 3 through 7 will take part in their Field Day after lunch today. Please review the details outlined above regarding Field Day.
We will not be sending home the Tuesday Take Home folders today, but will send them home with the students on their last day of school.
Wednesday, June 12th
PreK will have its Step Up Ceremony--details have been shared with parents from the teacher. Any questions, please direct them to the teacher.
Last day of school for PreK and Preschool students. Teachers should have shared details about the last day of school with parents.
Thursday, June 13th
Last day of school for Grades 1-7. Dismissal will start at 11:00 am using the staggered dismissal schedule as usual.
Students will be taking home their Tuesday Take Home folders that will include their final trimester report card, MAP testing summary, and other end of the year items like information about summer work. We wish all of our students and families a fun-filled and safe summer break!
If your child has any medication in the School Nurse's Office, you must come in to pick up that medication. We cannot send any medication home with students.
Other Reminders
Income Eligibility Survey Form
If you have not already sent this into the school office, please do so by Tuesday, Jun 11th. The results of this form help us get qualified for Title funding from the local public schools. Parents are invited to place the completed form in a sealed envelope that is marked "Confidential-Survey Form" and send it in or drop it off at the main office. Parents may also complete the form and scan it to Mrs. Peixoto's attention (dpeixoto@catholicsa.org). We have attached an electronic copy of this important letter and form and would appreciate it if every family would complete it and submit it to Mrs. Peixoto's attention. Thank you.
