FRESHMAN FOCUS PARENT NIGHT
The Herschel V. Jenkins High School Professional School Counseling Department invites and strongly encourages ALL FRESHMAN and ALL FRESHMAN PARENTS to attend. Parents and students will receive information regarding the 9th Grade Transition, Promotion Requirements, Graduation Requirements, Community Service, and much, much more.

HVJ WARRIORS RED RIBBON WEEK 2024-2025
HVJ Warriors will highlight this on 10/28-11/1. This year's theme is "Drug-Free Looks Like Me." We will be doing a variety of activities focused on combating drugs, alcohol and negative behaviors in our school, our families and in our community. Staff and students are encouraged to participate in the theme each day and wear jeans for the entire week within the following guidelines:

Are you thinking about going straight into the workforce after high school and need assistance in finding employment opportunities to make this happen- then this opportunity is for you!
JCB will be hosting an Apprenticeship Information session on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Jenkins High School. JCB is the largest privately-owned construction equipment manufacturer in the world with 22 manufacturing facilities. The JCB Apprenticeship Program is open to all high school seniors interested in all areas of manufacturing operations. You will be trained for three years, followed by a continued employment agreement with JCB.

Jenkins Student Spotlight
HVJ Warriors NJROTC
Warriors NJROTC participated in the South Effingham Drill meet. Our cadets did amazing and showed that by accomplishing 1st place in push ups and curls ups, 2nd place overall in athletics, 3rd place in academics and 3rd place overall in the drill meet. Special shoutout to Angelica De Los Santos, Brooklyn Carter, Gerrod Lee-Whitaker and Jadyn McClain for placing individually in push ups and curl ups!
