Cedar Grove Friday Flash
March 14, 2025
Dear Cedar Grove Families:
Last Thursday, the Bluesky Puppet Theatre came and presented Super Pig, an Anti Bully Assembly. The students learned about anti bully techniques, the importance of helping others, and how to identify everyday people doing helpful things. We thank the PTA for funding this wonderful experience for our kids!
Students continue to do a great job composting during their lunchtime. During the month of February, students successfully diverted 635 pounds of food waste from landfills and incinerators! We appreciate our students' efforts in keep with our Green School goals.
Hallie Wells Middle School is excited to announce Six the Musical: Teen Edition, taking the stage on March 21 & 22! This engaging performance features the six wives of Henry VIII as they compete for the title of the most tragic queen. This production showcases not only their competition but the depth of their stories. Families are invited to attend at 6:00 p.m. when doors open and showtime is at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. This program is recommended for ages 11 and up.
Career Day will be Thursday, May 29th! Please help support our students learning about careers by sharing yours! Students LOVE learning and talking about what they want to be when they grow-up. They are eager to learn about different careers. We are fortunate to have so many interesting jobs in our parent community. Please consider volunteering for this exciting day and complete this Career Day Interest form.
Have a wonderful weekend!
