On Tuesday, April 23, DeSales will be hosting a family reading night. Activities will include story time, a book swap, games, bookmark decorating, and more! More information will follow as we get closer to this event.
PARP at DeSales
Mystery Reader Monday
PreK through Grade 4 will be enjoying Mystery Reader during DeSales Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) program. We invite any family member to come and read to the class.
Follow this link to sign up for the available times and dates for each teacher.
If you would like to be a mystery reader, please look for the teacher whose class you would like to read to and enter your name in the slot for the date and time that you prefer. Please bring a book that you would like to read to the class on the day of your visit and be sure to sign in at the main office when you arrive. Remember, it’s a surprise, so don’t tell your child that you or a family member are going to be the mystery reader! Thank you for participating in PARP!
PARP Olympics
The Pick a Reading Partner (PARP) Program program encourages adults to spend time reading with their child. PARP at DeSales will run through Friday May 3, 2024.
The theme for this year’s program is Olympics!
Below you will find links to a reading log for your child. At the end of the month please turn in your child’s reading log. Prizes will be given for each child that completes a reading log. If we have 90 percent participation, Mrs. Rahill will read a story to students from the roof!

Me & My Guy Dance

Girls in preschool through Grade 8 are invited to attend with their favorite 'Guy.' Will you bring your Dad? Your Grandpa? Your favorite Uncle? Girls are welcome to bring any male role model as their 'Guy.' Whomever you bring, we can't wait for you to join us for a night of dancing, music, photo booth fun, refreshments, light appetizers & basket raffle! Kindergarten,1st&2nd Grade Generation Celebration
Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grade will celebrate their Generation Celebration on:

9:40 am in the DeSales Gym
Please ask your child's grandparents & special senior friends to save the date. Students in Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd grade will be inviting these guests to share a Mass with them. Thank you to all who have already filled out the form with their information. If you have yet to fill out the form, please follow this link to do so by Friday, April 19th.
Generation Celebration Days are regular, full school days for students.
There are parking (including handicap spots) in the upper parking lot for guests that have difficulty with stairs. They can enter through the door in this upper area and will be asked to sign in.

Cub Scout Pack 4 of St. John’s celebrated the Solar Eclipse with a backyard camp out. Representing Desales, Dominic (4th grade), Chance (3rd Grade), Lawson (2nd Grade), and Noella (Kingergarten) enjoyed campfire cooking. tent camping and a hike. Troop 4 Scout Zachary (6th grade) assisted with the campfire and cooking.

St. Joe's Spring Open House

All prospective students and their families are invited to Open House for private, self guided tours of our modern campus. Your tour map will direct you through our campus to interact with our teachers, staff, coaches, and students. This a pre-registration event only with limited attendance and appointment slots. The YWCA of the Niagara Frontier’s Summer Day Camp is open to girls and boys ages 5-12 years old. Our camp will run 8 week long sessions starting on July 1st – August 23rd, 2024. Part-time is available. Our staff has integrated themes which incorporate arts and crafts, sports and recreation, dramatic arts and hands-on activities. Follow this link to find out how to register.
