STEM Around Brooklyn
Pre-K
KG
Kindergarten is learning how living things impact the environment. They went to the STEM lab and saw how beavers build homes across streams which causes the water to form a pond. Beavers chop down trees which causes birds and squirrels to lose their homes, but when the water ponds up, other animals like frogs and turtles have new homes!
1st
First grade has been learning about ocean layers as part of their study of different habitats around the world!
