MEET the SOCIAL WORKER

Hi! I'm Ms. Juarez the Highlands HS campus Social worker. I look forward to working with parents and students. Its important for me to respect the dignity and worth of an individual. As well as the importance of self-determination. I will work along side students and parents to identify any needs or barriers they may have and jointly create interventions to help remove obstacle or stressors. I work closely with school staff, principles, counselors, teachers and community partners. Our goal to is inspire students to succeed this school year.

I grew up on the East-side of San Antonio. I attended Highlands High school. I obtained a Masters Degree from Our Lady of The Lake University. My experience is Mental Health, Crisis Intervention, Family Violence, Community, and Children and Families.
