With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, I'd like to take this moment to express my gratitude for being a part of such a supportive community. Working with such brilliant and devoted staff and students is certainly a blessing.

As I consider the many things for which I am grateful, I'd like to take this opportunity to share a few with you:

1. I am thankful for our students who log on every day ready to learn – they give us a daily reminder of what is important and why we are here.
2. I am thankful to our parents, guardians, and learning coaches for entrusting us with your student's education. Thank you for your partnership in ensuring their success.
3. I am thankful for our faculty, who are deeply devoted to ensuring the academic success of each and every student at Peak Prep. Few professions are as dedicated to their work as educators are to their students. Educators make sacrifices daily and are generous with their time, energy, and resources.

Students that are behind pace have the week of Thanksgiving Break (11/22-11/26), and the two weeks of Winter Break (12/20-12/31) to get caught up (15 total weekdays). If you are someone who is currently behind in their courses, DO NOT GIVE UP! You can do this! The system will not expect you to be working, so you can get back on track and finish strong if you use your time wisely.

Remeber, when the relative grade is 60%, that means you have earned credit for your course. The relative grade is the grade a student would receive if they stopped working and received 0% for all unscored, counted activities. As a reminder, students need a final grade of at least 60% to earn credit for a course.

If you need help getting yourself organized or developing a strategy to pass your courses please please please let us know! Don't give up!

Semester 2 Master Agreements (MA) are being created now. Please prioritize signing your students MA as soon as it is received (they are being sent via Dochub). All of the TK-5's MA's have been sent, and the counselors are working on the 6th-12th grade MA's right now.

We must receive your student's signed Semester 2 master agreement by no later than December 17th! If we do not receive your semester 2 MA, your student may lose their spot in our school.

Each Friday, your Homeroom teacher will send the parent/guardian a Learning Log via Dochub. The learning log is a record that the parent/guardian will sign and initial certifying that the student listed above has "engaged in [required] educational activities" on each day that they have initialed.

Please take a minute to initial, sign, and finalized your student's learning log every Friday afternoon.

Please be aware that all communications generally receive a reply from school staff within 24 hours (not including holidays or weekends). Although the online system is typically available 24/7, our staff members are available during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.
