BARB REGAN
6th grade Science Teacher: Titan Team
Sponsor: (this year) Art Club, (past years) Diversity Club and Science Olympiad
About Me
I am truly blessed and have enjoyed a rich life filled with new and old friends, colleagues, and lots of family. My husband of 35 years and I have two wonderful sons. Tim, who is a chemist and Jake, who is a lawyer. We have lived here in Antioch for 30+ years and enjoy gardening, traveling, and painting old furniture. We love the small town atmosphere that Antioch has to offer and frequently walk uptown to shop and enjoy dining out.
Experience
I graduated from Mennonite College of Nursing in 1987 and worked as a hospital nurse for many years before returning to school for my teaching certificate and then later a Master's in Science Education. I joined the D34 team in 2003 as a 6th grade science teacher and have LOVED every minute of teaching!
Why I am a Teacher
I am a teacher because I want to inspire others to learn about the natural world around them. I have always been fascinated with all things science and have always wanted to share my passion with others. I am tickled pink to see my former students go into the science fields and share with me how I helped fuel that passion in them and inspired their dreams. Since I'm retiring this year, I'd like to hear from any former students and what they're doing now! Here's my email: babsregan50@gmail.com ❤️ for anyone who wants to reach-out.
D34 - THANKS FOR MANY GREAT YEARS AND I'LL MISS ALL OF YOU!!!

Attention: INCOMING KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES!

Families will have an opportunity to learn more about the Boosters parent organization and Champions before and after-school child care program. Don't miss out on this fun opportunity!
