Dear Bobcat Families,

This year CAASPP testing will take place April 29- May 6, 2024. Our school site leadership team decided to have state testing be a team effort. This means that most BJH teachers will administer the CAASPP regardless of the subject they teach. Testing classes will be assigned by last name in alphabetical order. While students may not be assigned to their regular teacher for ELA, Math and Science, they will still take the test with students in their own grade level. We look forward to our entire school participating in CAASPP testing and more teachers assisting with test administration. Please see the testing schedule below.

Thanks to all parents who supported our school during Open House by bidding on the silent auction gift baskets. Our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) raised over $600. The school earned $191 from the purchases of Kona Ice.

This Monday, 7th grade students will turn in their Fall 2024 registration cards. Counselors will visit math classes to collect the registration cards. All course registration information has been posted in Google Classroom. If you have questions, please reach out to Mrs. Jansen or Mr. Penilla. In addition, BCTV created a special episode for students to get a better understanding of elective offerings at BJH. Students will watch in their homeroom classes. 8th grade parents: Please click the link below to access information about the 8th grade Knott's Berry Farm trip. Only students who qualify may attend. Should your student not be able to attend, their name will be on the ineligibility list and they will not be able to purchase a ticket/transportation. If your student is removed from the trip due to not meeting criteria after ticket purchase, they will not attend and can use the ticket purchased for another day. No cash refunds will be provided.
