From the Principal
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the beautiful spring weather that we had!
Prom was a blast last night, thank you to all of the families that helped out, came to take pictures, and provided opportunities for your students to enjoy a night under the stars.
As we continue to get further into the last month of the school year please make sure that all of your student's fees are paid up to date, be prepared to return Chromebooks and chargers at the end of the year, and keep an eye on this newsletter for important information regarding the end of the year.
One item that I do want to highlight is final assessments for 7th-11th graders. These will be happening on June 5th and 6th during their classes. Attendance is essential as this is the final opportunity for students to show their teachers everything that they have learned this semester. With these exams being on the last two days of school, students who are not present may not be able to make up their final assessment which could affect their overall grade. Please plan to make sure that your student is at school on these days.
Here is a list of important dates to remember:
May 6th- 7th grade Band Concert
May 11th and 12th- Evening With Art
May 13th- CJSH Band Concert
May 23rd- 8th grade Musical
May 28th- CJSH Choir Concert
May 28th- Last Day for Seniors
May 29th- Senior Trip
May 30th- Victory Walk (8:30 am at CES and 9:15 at CJSH, families and community members may sit along the CES driveway to congratulate our seniors), Graduation Practice at 10:00, Awards Night at 5:30

June 2nd- Graduation at 1:00
Thank you so much for your continued support! Have a great week!
Mrs. Stewart

Payton and Mia presented our Gold Standard Certified Cougar Cave Food Operations project. Brooklynn and Oliver attended Emerging Leaders workshops that provided valuable strategies to bring back to our chapter. Though we did not bring back the coveted DECA Glass, our members brought their best game and made memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations!
