Study Island's NWEA path update
Since last months newsletter, the NWEA path on Study Island has been updated to your child's winter NWEA results. Thank you for using this wonderful on-line tool to guide your child's success.
State and District Spring Assessment Dates
As you are scheduling appointments for your child for April/May, please try to schedule around MAP weeks if at all possible.
State and District Assessment Dates:
Week of April 7 - MAP testing in English Language Arts for grades 3-5
Week of April 14 - MAP testing in Math for grades 3-5 (No School April 18)
Week of April 21 - MAP testing in Science for grade 5 (No School April 21)
Week of April 28 - STAR Reading assessment for grades 3-5
Week of May 5 - NWEA testing for grades 3-5

Dates of tutoring for those that are involved are as follows:

February 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25, and 27
March 4, 6, 18, 20, 25, and 27
April 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22 and 24

February/March Important Dates
February 14 - Community Parternships will be in the building.
Febraury 14 - Valentine's Day Parties - CIS allows 4 adults per classroom per party. Sign-ups to attend are through PTSA which would have been completed by now.
February 17 - No School to observe President's Day
February 26 - 4th grade Starbooks Reading event after school
March 6 - C.I.S. Spring Pictures - individual and class
March 11-12 - C.I.S. Book Fair
March 11 - Spring Title I Event for Parkview and C.I.S. at C.I.S from 4:00-6:00p.m.
March 11 - Book Fair family event from 4:00-6:00p.m.
March 13, 14 and 17 - No School
