Cedar Hill ISD Families & Students,
The upcoming 2025-2026 school year is fast-approaching.
Cedar Hill ISD has set a goal in which 75 percent of our current scholars complete their Longhorn Registration by Friday, May 23, 2025 -- the last day of the 2024-2025 school year.
This is very important as it helps the district plan for the upcoming school year, in terms of hiring and classes.
The Lacy Enrollment Center, 504 Belt Line Road, is open and available for onsite support for returning scholar registration. You can also register online on Skyward.
Horns Up! Scores Up!
Cedar Hill ISD is being celebrated by the Commit Partnership for its continued progress in student achievement and growth. Through intentional leadership, strong community partnerships, and a focus on high-quality instruction, CHISD is closing learning gaps and creating more opportunities for all scholars.
- One of Cedar Hill ISD’s most impressive accomplishments is the remarkable growth students have shown in Texas Success Initiative (TSI) readiness. The TSI is an assessment measuring how well students are prepared for postsecondary education in the subjects of reading and math. Cedar Hill ISD has seen notable gains, growing the number of students meeting “college ready” standards by 42 percentage points from 2021 to 2023.
This recognition highlights the district’s commitment to excellence and its belief in the potential of every student. Thank you to our dedicated staff, supportive families, and community for working together to ensure our scholars thrive. The best is yet to come for Cedar Hill ISD!
Have a great week!
Dr. Gerald B. Hudson
