June 2024 Newsletter

It's hard to believe that June is here. This month continues to be packed with activities and celebrations to showcase all we've learned this year at Cold Spring. Mark your calendars, put on some sunblock, and enjoy this ride that we call the end of the year!

This month we celebrated ourselves and how much we've grown this school year. Mrs. Essery led students in creating self-portraits during art class. Your student should be proud of all they accomplished this school year because we sure are!

Thank you for a terrific Literacy Night! We enjoyed sharing our love of literacy with the community. A special thank you to the teachers who volunteered their evening to transform Cold Spring into a tropical resort. A gracious thank you to Mrs. Poole for organizing yet another successful Literacy Night. Next year is year 10!

1st Grade families: Please join us to send off our 1st graders on their way to ROAR to Seymour next year! We will do a bubble send off on the last day of school. Bring the family and some bubbles to blow! See the attached flyer for more information. Please arrive starting at 11:00 am to kick off the walkout at 11:15 am.

As the end of the year approaches, we will be reaching out to parents whose student has medication here at school. Medications will need to be picked up by an adult and cannot be sent home with your student. Please keep an eye out for information coming home to contact Mrs. Heath for pick up.

June 21st- 2:15 pm Dismissal/ Pre-k Moving up Ceremony 11:00 am

June 24th- 2:15 pm Dismissal

June 25th- Noon Dismissal

June 26th- Noon Dismissal/ 1st Grade Bubble Walk Out Ceremony 11:00 am/ Last Day of School
