Isaac Bauman - Isaac is always polite and kind. He works hard everyday. He participates in class. He is responsible. All great characteristics for a bright future! Thank you for your hard work Isaac!

Addison Elmore - Addison is one of my students that I can always count on to do that right thing. She does great in my class and is a perfect example of a stellar student. Thank you for all your hard work, it does not go unnoticed!!

The New Berlin High School ACES Team got 5th out of 11 schools at the Sectional on March 11th.

Pretzels are getting ready for Spring!

Week of March 17th:

The New Berlin High School Spanish Dual Credit classes had the opportunity to go on a field trip to see two unforgettable and culturally rich performances in Decatur on Friday, March 14th at the Decatur Civic Center. Both shows, the Latin Iberian Show and Fusion Latino Flamenco, explored the culture and history of music and dance from Latin America and Spain. Both shows allowed students to participate at the end. The students really enjoyed the trip!

Ms. Kennedy's Spanish III and IV students taught Ms. Burke's 6th grade class yesterday. Spanish III taught about March madness, and Spanish IV taught about Saint Patrick's Day and why it's celebrated in Mexico. They both created engaging lessons. The 6th grade students had a great time learning a little español.

Week of March 24th - Spring Break

25th - The NBHS FFA hosted a Chicken Dinner Fundraiser for the Britz Family from the Tri-City Area due to the loss of their home to a devastating fire on March 5th.

30th NBHS FFA held their annual banquet at the Sangamon County Fairgrounds. Congratulations to all of the members and their accomplishments this year! Shout out to Ms. Weidhuner for an excellent job on coordinating everything and recognizing our students, alumni, and honored guests!
