El Camino HS Newsletter

The purpose of El Camino High School is to provide our students with an alternative education. Our mission is to develop within our students an awareness of their responsibilities to become productive contributing members of society and work enthusiastically toward their full potential.

El Camino takes great pride in servicing our students and for its efforts has been recognized as a Model Continuation School by the state of California. It is our goal to assist students in recouping credits so that they can either return to their home school or graduate at El Camino.

The deadline to get help with your FAFSA application is March 28th!

The El Camino High School Yearbooks are available for pre-order for $25. Purchase in the front office during snack or lunch.

Once the yearbooks are all sold, they are gone forever!

NOTE: CASH only - exact change!

If you are turning 18 years of age or if you are 18 years of age, you MUST register with the Selective Service System by clicking the image to the right or by going to www.sss.gov. It takes less than 2 minutes to register and it's the law!

Registering can save a you a lifetime of headaches. Some of the benefits lost for failing to register include access to: state-funded financial aid for college, most federal employment, some state employment, job training programs, and delays in citizenship processing.

If you do not register within 30 days of your 18th birthday, you may be asked to go to your local U.S. post office in person and fill out the form there.

A big shout out goes to the following students who attended a Mock Interview.

They made us proud by dressing professionally, preparing their resume, and filling out their application. They did a fantastic job during the interview!
