Wishing Our Families the HAPPIEST of Holidays
Thank you to all of our families and community who joined us for the Winter Festival! We hope you had as much fun as we did watching our scholars and their families perform, bounce, bid, eat, shop, and play.
As we prepare for winter break and take time to spend with our families—celebrating the holidays, shopping, wrapping gifts, and, of course, relaxing—I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation, gratitude, and admiration. We are so fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community here at Pinnacle. Every morning, I wake up excited to come to work, knowing I get to be a part of this exceptional group of families and staff.
Thank you for all that you do to make Heritage Academy Pinnacle the best school in the Northwest Valley. Your support, involvement, and dedication make all the difference.
Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season.

Stacey Davis- Special Education Instructional Aide
Hello, my name is Stacey Davis and I am so excited to become a part of the Heritage Academy family, I am originally from Atlanta, GA but have moved around quite a bit living in MN, a short stint in Tucson, AZ, then to CO, a short stint in Gilbert, AZ, then back to CO and then 5 years ago we finally made the move to Anthem, AZ. I am done moving and will not be moving any time soon as I feel our move to Anthem was the best move for my family. I have 4 daughters and was a stay at home mom for 19 years and then the teaching bug bit me. I have been working in Special Education for 3 years now and it is truly enriching and gives me so much joy. What I love about teaching is getting to develop those close relationships with students and getting to see the growth that they make from day to day and year to year. My kids that I see and get to know are just like my own kids and their accomplishments are a true celebration for me as well. I truly feel that teaching is my life’s calling and I am excited to start at Heritage and get to know all the scholars here. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, going to the beach and Disneyland, spending time outdoors, walking my dog, and baking and cooking.
Amanda Nesvig- K-8 Music and Instrumental Director
Hi, I’m Amanda Nesvig! I hold a music composition degree from The Master’s University and Butler University and have spent my career teaching general music, music theory, and choir to students from preschool through high school. This year, I’m thrilled to join Heritage Pinnacle as the music teacher!
I am passionate about providing a rich and engaging music education, believing that every student has the potential to become musically literate. In our music classes, you might find students singing, dancing, playing music games, reading rhythms and melodies, or exploring instruments—a joyful celebration of learning through music.
Outside of teaching, I treasure my role as a wife to my husband, Tim, and as a mother to our two daughters, Mae (5) and Cecilia (3). My other favorite pastimes include cooking, reading, hiking, and playing the piano.

Driveline Procedures
Morning driveline begins at 7:30 a.m.
Afternoon driveline is 3:15-3:30 p.m. (gates open at 3:00 p.m.)
RED ARROWS- this is the new kindergarten driveline for pick-up after school only. All kindergarten scholars (with their 1st-8th grade siblings) will be waiting in the courtyard and they will exit through the wooden gates to load their cars. Pull as far forward as possible.
IMPORTANT! Liberty Kids Preschool uses this curb to pick up at 2:45 p.m. Kinder parents cannot start lining up on the curb until 3:00 p.m.
BLACK ARROWS- this will continue to be the driveline for 1st-8th grade pick-up. The gates will open at 3:00 p.m. Please pull as far forward as possible so we can remove traffic from Pinnacle Peak Rd.
Waiting on Pinnacle Peak Rd- cars that are facing WEST need to pull as far off the road and into the dirt as possible while they wait to enter the parking lot.
Out of consideration for other parents who have been waiting in line, please do not drive through and then wait in the parking lot to cut the drive line. We have received multiple complaints from parents who are waiting in the long line. We appreciate everyone doing their part and showing each other courtesy and patience.
Please follow these guidelines for a safe and efficient pick up:
- Have your car tag clearly displayed.
- Pull up to the furthest cone possible.
- If you need to buckle your child, pull forward and off to the side.
- Eyes up, phone down please!
- Show citizenship, patience, and courtesy to other parents & drivers- YOU are setting an example for all of our scholars.
IMPORTANT NOTICE- Student Pick-up Time Limit
After school, scholars should be picked up by 3:30 p.m.
Scholars who are still on campus after 3:30 (and parents are not actively waiting in driveline) will be walked to Hero Club and parents will be charged a $20 non-registration fee plus $2/minute past 3:45 p.m. After two occurrences, your scholar will be enrolled in Hero Club at the monthly fee.
If you know you will frequently arrive later than 3:15, please register your scholar for Hero Club.
