Discover the Best Kept Secret: Your Voice

NATIONAL SCHOOL CHOICE WEEK
National School Choice Week is recognized from January 26 - February 1, 2025. Here at D49, we emphasize the importance of promoting educational choices. This is carried out by offering different programs at schools, different class settings, and charter schools. Each Zone also differs in their curriculum, practices, and educational framework. Allowing the zones, and each school, to create their unique environment, parents can see which school and setting would work best for their family.
OPTIONS AT D49
D49 Offers a variety of options for learning. Currently, there are
- 19 Elementary Schools (11 District-Run, 8 Charter)
- 12 Middle Schools (4 District-Run (another to be added next school year), 8 Charter)
- 10 High Schools (6 District-Run, 4 Charter (another to be added next school year)
- A Home School Program (K-12)
- CTE/ Pathway options at various High Schools
With a variety of environments, parents can weigh the options that are best for their family. It is important to get your School Choice forms in as soon as possible as many schools will begin to look at enrollment for the next school year.
