2017 Graduation Ceremony Information
The graduation ceremony for the Scottsburg High School Class of 2017 will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, at McClain Hall. The doors will open at 1:00 p.m.
Students who are graduating will need to arrive in the SHS Commons by 1:15 p.m. to line up for the ceremony.
Parking is available at the high school with the Scott County Sheriff’s Posse directing traffic. Additional parking will be available at The Rock, which is the Scottsburg First Christian Church Student Ministry Building, located at 750 S. Gardner Street. Shuttle buses will transport those who have parked at The Rock starting at 1:00 p.m.
Scott County Prosecutor Award for Attendance
A huge shout out to Senior Kayla Morris!
She did not miss a single day of school in the last four years. At graduation practice Scott County Prosecutor Chris Owens presented an award along with a check for her perfect attendance.
SHS would like to thank Scott County Prosecutor Owens for supporting our kids!
Health Perspectives Holds a Health Fair
Students went to the track to participate in activities which promote healthy lifestyles. They received a SHS Workout Warrior T-Shirt for getting the required number of points.
It was a great way for the class to learn about healthy lifestyles and promote them to their fellow classmates! Congrats to Mrs. Glass and Mrs. Hafer for a successful Health Fair!
SHS Summer School and Office Hours
Carter Bowles wins MSC Golf Championship!
Carter is just the fourth Warrior in school history to win the Mid-Southern Conference Championship. The Warriors enter sectional play on Monday, June 5th.
Congrats to Carter and good luck to him and the rest of the Warriors as they finish up their season.
