Join us on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in the Folk School Dining Hall for this beloved tradition that brings our community together to support local food banks. Your ticket includes a delicious meal of soup, salad, bread, and a beverage—plus a beautiful handmade bowl to take home!

All event proceeds will benefit the Sharing Center in Murphy, Matt’s Ministry, Cherokee County Food Bank, and Clay County Food Pantry. Last year, we raised over $12,000—let’s make an even bigger impact this year!

Residencies, ranging from one week to three months, offer artists the opportunity to experiment, produce work, use specific equipment, or develop ideas. Currently open to book arts, drawing, jewelry, music, painting, photography, printmaking, and weaving, upcoming 2025 residencies will also include casting, lapidary, woodworking, welding/blacksmithing, paper, and cooking. Residencies include a private bedroom and studio, though applicants are responsible for consumables, materials, food, and travel. Applications for the next round will open March 1-31 for residencies from July to September 2025.
