Medications at School
- Any medication that you've checked in needs to be picked up by the end of the school day May 22, 2025 or it will be disposed of.
Required Immunizations for School
Each school level has different requirements for children. Those requirements are presented here by grade level. Requirements for school-age children and young adults entering college can change yearly. Please ensure your child has the proper immunizations for the upcoming school year.
SAFETY CORNER
Talk to your kids about Fentanyl
Do you know where your pill or powder came from?
Unless you got it from a pharmacy, it could contain a lethal dose of fentanyl, America's #1 drug threat. Protect yourself and your kids by learning the facts and spreading the word about the dangers of fentanyl and taking medications that aren't prescribed to you. Talk to your kids; don't assume they won't do it. Good kids make bad decisions all the time.
School Safety
Want to know about HISD's safety protocol?
Report suspicious behavior, bullying/cyberbullying, or self harm?
Online Safety
Protect your students from Human Trafficking by protecting them online. When we think about kidnapping we think about strangers in the store like in the movies, but statistically it's going to be someone you already know or someone your kid "thinks they know" online.
Camp Invention
For the very first time Camp Invention is coming to Hallsville Intermediate School! This action-packed program provides high-energy STEM adventures for your students in grades 1-6! From July 7-11 kids will collaborate with friends to take on fun, hands-on challenges, like creating a custom claw machine, exploring penguins in Antarctica and more! Each experience inspires creativity and boosts confidence.
$40 off with the promo code NEWCAMP until 4/30 and after that date it will be $30 off until the first day of camp.
