• Student, Parent & Teacher Conferences are coming up for the week of Thanksgiving, please be on the look out for an invitation via email from your child's Squad Leader!
• No school for students on Tuesday, November 5, 2024; Election Day!
• There will also be NO SCHOOL on Monday, November 11, 2024 in honor of Veterans Day; Thank you to all who have served our great nation!
• Winter Sports Registrations are OPEN NOW! Please sign up to participate in winter sports- more information below!
• Students have been needed reminders about appropriate language choices, affirmations of kind and polite language are much appreciated!
• A group of 20 student leaders will travel to Bridgewater State University's Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center for peer leadership training. We are so proud of our nominated students who represent our community each and every day by living our core values!
• Picture Retake Day will be 11/19. More info below!

Nice to know info:

• Congratulations to Reese Bickford, the band student of the week!

• Grade 8 students participated in an interactive zoom lesson with the Kennedy Institute on October 24th. Students debated should the US Constitution be amended to eliminate the Electoral College and instead go with the popular vote to elect the US President.

• CLUBS include: MS Newspaper (Tuesdays), MS Coding, Homework & Art Club (Wednesdays)
• Mrs. Deb Hickey will be our MS Drama Club advisor.
• Student Council, Kindness Club, Chess & Checkers, Anime/Manga meet during the school day, at lunchtime!

Millis Middle School will be hosting parent/guardian conferences on two dates this year. Conferences will INCLUDE students with a caregiver and a teacher (their squad leader). Conferences will be approximately 15 minutes each and will cover all content areas with the Squad leader and your child. Invitations to sign up will be sent directly to you from your child’s squad leader soon. The dates and times for the conferences are as follows:

Monday, November 25:

• Parent conferences from 12:00pm-2:30pm (1/2 day for students - classes end at 10:55am)

Tuesday, November 26:

• Parent conferences from 12:00pm-2:30pm (1/2 day for students - classes end at 10:55am)

• Parent conferences from 5:30pm-7:30pm

Pictures will be taken inside on this day.

All students and caregivers have been provided with PowerSchool logins and passwords. PowerSchool provides realtime access to your child's academic progress, grades and comments.
