OLVCS Updates

Tonight is the Art Show and Spring Concert. Doors open at 5:30 for the Art Show; concert begins at 6:30. We hope to see you there.

Please enter through the front or rear (parent drop off/pick-up) GYM doors. Then use the blue doors to go to the upstairs.

The last day of school will remain June 5th; dismissal at 11:00. Teachers report on the 6th.

Also, the Education Office has set our last training for the spring of 2026, for Friday March 6th. Students will have off, teachers will report. This will make for a little longer Spring Break! That date is added to the calendar attached. You can consider this version final.

• Our Spring Art Show is today at 5:30PM.
• The show features art pieces from each student in K-8th grade.
• Come see all of the amazing works of art the students have created with the help of Mrs. McQueary! So much hard work has gone into the show!
• Our spring concert will follow at 6:30 pm.
• Both our band and strings ensembles will be performing! It's sure to be a wonderful concert!

• I.O.U's are to be paid off by Tuesday, May 27th.
• Cafeteria accounts have enough money up to and including Wednesday June 4th.

What: OLVCS Senior Parade

When: Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 - 2:00pm

Where: Our Lady of Victory Catholic School

This parade celebrates their achievements as OLVCS alumni and their time spent at OLVCS while looking forward to the bright futures that await them all.

Please plan to check in at the main office by 1:45pm to ensure a timely start to the festivities.

We eagerly anticipate seeing all of the graduating seniors there and celebrating together. Please help us spread the word!

We need your help! This annual event consists of fun, outdoor stations in the morning. The K-3 students will be at stations in the back of the school, and 4-8 will have their stations in the front. Parent volunteers are needed for 'running' the stations, as classes rotate through. No experience necessary!

• If you are wanting a way to give back to OLVCS and want to earn service hours, sign up today!
• Mr. Stec will work with Middle School students twice a month on projects around the school that need attention. Students are able to sign up week to week. They do not need to commit to the entire semester.

We are hosting another open gym for OLV Girls Volleyball! This event is FREE, but parents must sign their student up.

Any OLVCS 8th grade girl who will be attending Saint Joseph's next Fall is invited to join in their Spring volleyball open gyms. For more information reach out to SJCA student, Monika Peters at mpeters@sjcacademy.org. This is a great way to "get some reps" and have fun with the girls on the SJCA volleyball team!

• Preschool is practicing for their end of the year program which will be held next Thursday, 05/22 @ 10:30am in the church.
  
• Reception for our retiring teachers will be in the social hall directly following the concert.

OLV Preschool is currently looking for morning teachers and morning and afternoon aides. If hired to join our preschool staff, you receive a tuition discount for your children enrolled in OLVPS and OLVCS!

• Work in the mornings and have the rest of the day for personal responsibilities.

• If you only want to work in the afternoons, join our ESP (Extended School Program) staff.

The Four Pillars Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the Centre Hills Golf Club. Event registration includes golf, cart, lunch, dinner, and – new this year – a commemorative polo. You can register at www.stjoeacad.org. Space is limited and we’ve sold out in the past years.
