Letter From The CEO:

Hello All,

As we’re nearing the end of the summer, it’s time to wrap up all your Summer Learning activities. If you want to be entered into our prize drawings, be sure to finish your reading goals, complete your projects, or fill your punch cards. The last day to enter is August 12.

During these periods of extended hot weather, please remember that we have air conditioning at the library. If you need a place to relax in the cool air, come on in. We’re happy to host you.

Don’t forget to stock up on your books, audiobooks, or board games for those end-of-summer road trips. Travel safe, and we’ll see you when you get back!

Current Hours

We are fully open to the public! Come on in to see us 10am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-4pm on Saturdays. We are no longer closed for lunch on Saturdays (yippee!).

Curbside hours are constant every day, Monday through Saturday, from 10am until 5pm. Please email us at curbside.bcld@gmail.com or give us a call and let us know what we can gather for you. We'll arrange a time to pick up for contactless delivery.

Summer Learning Initiative Recap

That's a wrap!

We had over 300 youth sign up for Summer Learning this year and over 130 adults sign up for Summer Reading. There were so many fun memories created this summer. Thank you all for participating!

August 12th is the last day to collect prizes from the treasure chest and enter prize drawings. The winners of the prize drawings will be announced by August 19th.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask the front desk staff members or call (970) 532-2757.

Library Card Design Contest Winner

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in our first Library Card Design Contest! We absolutely loved seeing all of your art. We are excited to announce that the winner is Dagny Tang, 10 years old.

The card that Dagny designed will become available on September 1st to mark the beginning of Library Card Sign-Up Month. We will have our regular cards available at no cost and the special design will be available for a $5 donation to our Friends of the Library.

Family Events:

Sunshine Storytime

Join us for Sunshine Storytime on Wednesdays & Fridays at 10:30AM. There will be no storytime the first week of August on the 2nd and 4th.

Musical Moments

Let's play at the library! Musical Moments is especially designed for preschool children. Stop by every other Friday at 4PM to learn, play, and sing at the Berthoud Community Library.

August's Musical Moments dates are the 11th and 25th.
