Educators of the Year
We want to congratulate two amazing staff members at Delaware Township School who were awarded the honor earlier this week of being named Delaware Township School's 2024-2025 Governor's Educators of the Year!
Teacher of the Year
Mrs. Ellen McShane
Middle School SS/ELA
Educational Service Professional of the Year
Mrs. Jill Kirchberger
Librarian/Media Specialist
Thank you both so much for your continued dedication towards educating our students and guiding them towards making this school the best place for our students to learn!
Role Models of Character Education
Each month, our DTS students will discuss and learn about a character education trait.
November's character education trait was Gratitude.
A student from each PK-5 homeroom and Gr 6-8 content area was chosen because he/she demonstrated responsibility this month and a role model for others.
Congratulations to all of the recipients below!
In December, we will highlight students who demonstrate Kindness!

Guess Who @ DTS?
Have you seen our school's new bulletin board? Mrs. Kirchberger, our school Librarian, created an amazing bulletin board with dozens of faculty/staff photos from their younger days. Our students have loved walking past and guessing who each staff member is. Can you guess who they are????
Speaking of bulletin boards, take a look at some of our special bulletin boards that our students and faculty/staff have created this month!

Seasonal Performances
As we enter into the holiday season, our students will begin participating in various grade level performances and seasonal activities during the school day that parents and guardians will be invited to. We ask that younger and older siblings remain in their classrooms to continue their learning for the day. We all must work together to send a consistent message to our students about how important it is to be present in class. In addition, for many of these performances, the students will typically attend dress rehearsals that still allow them to watch these wonderful performances. Thank you all for your cooperation in ensuring our students' success.
We're Hiring!
We are currently looking for a part-time paraprofessional to assist with some of our students.
We're excited to introduce a new initiative this year – Holiday Grams! This is a fun way for our students to spread holiday cheer and kindness by writing cards to peers in different grade levels, wishing them a joyful holiday and getting into the holiday spirit! We hope this initiative brings a smile to everyone’s face. Wishing all of you a safe, joyful, and happy holiday season! - Ms. Rozycki
Artist Spotlight
Inspired by Bob Ross, 7th-grade students were taught blending, layering, and the 'happy little accident' technique as they selected their own 'happy place' and created landscapes in his signature style.
Calendar Reminder:
The Elementary & Middle School Band and Chorus Holiday concert is on Thursday, December 12th at 7pm on the gym stage. Please have your child arrive by 6:30pm for warm-ups. Our dress rehearsal will be the day before (NO special dress required for this performance).
Concert attire is white top and black bottoms for Thursday evening. Students may wear holiday ties and accessories. Thank you in advance for your support of the music program. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!
Sincerely,
