Hey, Big Top Kids Families!

Summer is in full swing at Homestead! We've gotten to enjoy Kids Camp at Lake Geneva, Dew Days in Farmington, and learning about believing boldly during our Sunday services. We also kicked off our summer giving challenge for Casa Shalom Orphanage in Guatemala. We were so encouraged to see the kids set giving goals and come up with ideas for meeting them. This month, we are looking forward to VBS and laser tag nights! We hope you can join us!

CASA SHALOM

In June, we kicked off our summer giving challenge! The kids set giving goals and are already coming up with so many creative ways to raise money for Casa Shalom Orphanage.

We gave the kids a special challenge this time around: The 50/50 Challenge! Any kid who raises $50 is entered into a drawing to be the one to dump picnic foods on Pastor Brent and Pastor Anna. If 50 kids raise $50, every kid will get popsicles on Picnic a Pastor day (August 18).

Here are some ways kids have been raising money this summer:

Reagan and Emmy sold bookmarks they made
Judah provided snake removal services
Zaylee and Azaria had a lemonade stand
Nolan and Jake sold toys

Things to pray about for Casa Shalom:

Safety for all the children as they go to school each day (rain is causing mudslides)
That all the kids stay healthy, study hard, and are obedient
For all the kids who are adoptable to be adopted

Story: A Father’s Journey for His Son’s Healing (John 4:43–54)

Home Crew is an opportunity for 4th and 5th graders to grow in their faith, leadership, and relationships by getting more involved in the ministry of Big Top Kids. Home Crew helps in many areas of Big Top Kids and also meets a few times a year for Home Crew Hangouts.

Click HERE to sign your child up for the Big Top Kids Worship Team. This opportunity is open to any kids in 1st-5th grade. Kids will be scheduled to lead actions from the stage during weekend services.
