Highlights from EA Awards
We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone involved in making the 41st Annual Exceptional Achievement Award a resounding success. A heartfelt thank you to Amy Luttrell, whose leadership and dedication in event planning truly set the tone for an unforgettable evening on April 29th at Hillsboro High School. Congratulations to all the award recipients whose hard work and dedication were rightly celebrated. We also wish to express our special appreciation to all of the school districts and the dedicated individuals working tirelessly to serve our students. Your commitment and efforts each and every day do not go unnoticed and are the foundation of our community's success.

Announcement from SOESC
Curt Bradshaw elected to serve as the 16th Superintendent of Southern Ohio ESC
Southern Ohio Educational Service Center extends its deepest gratitude to outgoing Superintendent Beth Justice and warmly welcomes Curt Bradshaw as the newly elected Superintendent, effective August 1, 2024.
Beth Justice, Superintendent of Southern Ohio ESC, has announced her retirement after several years of dedicated service to the educational community. Her leadership has left an indelible mark on the ESC, and her contributions will be cherished and celebrated for years to come.
During a special board meeting held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, the Southern Ohio ESC Board of Education unanimously elected Curt Bradshaw to succeed Beth Justice as the incoming Superintendent. Bradshaw brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to educational excellence, making him well-suited to lead the ESC into its next chapter of growth and success.
The Southern Ohio ESC has employed Mr. Bradshaw for twelve years and he has most recently held the position of SOESC Assistant Superintendent. Prior to this, he served the ESC and member districts in various roles, including Gifted Intervention Specialist, Coordinator of Gifted Services, and School Improvement Consultant/Director of Teaching and Learning. Prior to working for the Southern Ohio ESC, Curt taught fifth-grade and sixth-grade English Language Arts in the Wilmington City School District.
Mr. Bradshaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Miami University and a Master of Science degree in Administration from Xavier University.
Bradshaw will officially assume his duties as Superintendent on August 1, 2024. In the meantime, he will work closely with Beth Justice to ensure a smooth transition and uphold the ESC's commitment to providing exceptional services and support to its stakeholders.
The Southern Ohio ESC looks forward to the positive impact Curt Bradshaw will undoubtedly bring as the new Superintendent, as it continues its mission to empower educators and enhance learning experiences across the region.
