Hello, GIS Families,

Last week, our 5th and 6th graders visited Bayview Crossing and Turn to Joy in South Hero. They went caroling, played games, and decorated cookies. It was a wonderful afternoon of bringing joy to those young and old. A big thanks to our Unified Arts staff for organizing this.

This week is the last week before break, it's only M-Th. We return to school on January 2nd.

There are a few updates about our winter concert date, basketball, wrestling, and family book club below. I will be ordering books when we return from break.

I wish everyone a happy and healthy break. I'm going to take a few days off with my family, and won't be replying to emails December 22-26.

December 22- January 2 - No School Winter Break

January 8- The Second Universal Testing Window Opens

January 15- No School MLK Day

January 24- Winter Concert

January 25- Early Release

Please remember to send your kiddos to school with winter gear. Our extra winter gear supply is limited and takes time to dry between uses.

Ms. Gibbons is hosting the winter concert on Wednesday, January 24. More information to come!

The last day to sign up is 12/20.
