Halloween Costumes
To ensure a fun and safe environment for everyone, we have a few guidelines for Halloween costumes this year:
- Costumes should be school-appropriate—nothing too scary or overly gory, please.
- No masks, face coverings, or heavy face paint that obscure the face.
- No weapons, toy swords, or props that resemble weapons of any kind.
- Please make sure costumes are comfortable and do not restrict movement for classroom activities and play.
Thank you for helping us create a safe and enjoyable Halloween experience for all our students! If you have any questions or need clarification, please feel free to reach out.
Teachers will notify you if costumes may be worn all day or if students will change into their costume after lunch.

Each grade will go down to the lunchroom to cast their vote for President. We will have voting booths and ballot boxes. Then students will receive an "I Voted" sticker. Thank you to our 8th graders and Mr. Melius for planning on our election day.

We have achieved 64% of our marathon goal collecting $35,128 which is 78% of our goal. Please turn in any last minute pledges.
Our goal is for EVERY student to bring in the required $300 fundraising goal for the Marathon.
All funds remain here at Sacred Heart and they are used to offset the rising costs of providing a quality education. So if you are asked, “Where does the money go?” It truly goes to support every part of our mission.

Give to the Max Day
As November draws near, so does Minnesota's giving holiday, Give to the Max Day on November 21st. Sacred Heart Catholic School will be participating but will also be launching our 30 Days of Giving campaign on November 1st. Each day we'll highlight why it is so important to support our greatest and more important asset, our children!
We hope you'll prayerfully consider a gift during the month of November to support our many academic and extracurricular programs! By supporting Sacred Heart Catholic School, you are making a profound investment in the leaders of tomorrow—individuals equipped not only with academic excellence but also with the resilience and moral integrity necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving world. Our graduates leave Sacred Heart with a solid foundation that enables them to engage meaningfully with their communities and navigate life's challenges with confidence. Grounded in their faith and values, they possess the vision and skills to drive positive change.

Recycling Plastic
Dear Sacred Heart community,
We have the chance to keep plastic film out of landfills! This fall, the school is hosting a Ridwell recycling drive. You’re invited to bring plastic film (ziptop bags, grocery bags, bubble wrap, and lots more) to school on Tuesday, November 12, and Ridwell will make sure it stays out of landfills. Start collecting plastic film now so you have a bunch to bring during the drive!
This info sheet explains what plastic film is and why it’s hard to recycle, and this video shows a ton of examples. All the plastic film we collect during the drive will be turned into Trex decking!
Curious about Ridwell at-home recycling pickup? They collect hundreds of common household items you can’t recycle curbside, like plastic food packaging, lightbulbs, clothes, Styrofoam, and more. You can help the school earn rewards if you sign up for a household membership by December 15. We’ll earn pickup of the school’s plastic film all spring when 10 new members sign up and a field trip to the Ridwell warehouse when 20 new members sign up.

Thank you!

Need help paying for tuition?
MN Fundraising Initiative (MNFI) secures contracts with over 23 venues in the greater Twin Cities area including Target Field, Target Center, Canterbury, and US Bank to operate food and beverage concessions stands at their events.
MNFI organizes teams of volunteers from all over the state of MN and WI who work together to run these stands. In turn, MNFI receives donations from these venues. The donations are then used to award grants to families in local communities to allow youth to attend private school, such as Sacred Heart Catholic School and participate in enrichment activities they may not otherwise be able to enjoy. Checks are mailed directly to Sacred Heart in your name.
Many of our school families use this organization to help pay for tuition.
