We have seen an uptick of devices here at school and we would love your support in reminding your Bobcat about cell phones and headphones/air pods policy while at school. We want to make sure that our students are focusing on academics during the school day. Please reach out to your Bobcats grade level administrator if you have any questions.

Full Week of Fun!

We had a full week of fun! Basketball and swimming kicked off, staff refused to use coffee cups, we threw pies at Dr. Pick, and professional learning focused on our school improvement plan. What a great week to be a Bobcat!

Celebrate Creativity Day at the Joslyn Art Museum

Ten Bobcats, recommended by their art, drama, or music teachers, enjoyed a day-long experience designed for middle school students featuring interactive workshops and a symphony concert.

NJHS Thanksgiving Fundraiser

Thanksgiving Donations – NJHS is collecting money during Bobcat Den the week of Nov. 11-15 to buy a Buffett family in need a Thanksgiving meal from HyVee. We will deliver the meal to the family the week of Thanksgiving. Please send cash with your Bobcat or to the front office if you are able to help out!

T-Shirt Design Contest

Greetings Bobcat Families!

Buffett Middle School is so excited to announce that we are adding some new spirit wear options. What makes these ones extra special is that are student designed! We are having a school-wide shirt design competition. All students are welcome to participate and have access to Canvas (where the designs must be created) on their district iPads. Submissions are due November 15. They will go through edit from staff and the top 10 designs will be placed up for a vote from the student body. We can't wait to expand our spirit wear collection! Once the designs are finalized, we will get the store up an running!
