AEHS Weekly Newsletter
February 2, 2025
Good evening, Einstein Community,
I hope students are settling into the new semester and finding their rhythm.
Friday marked the conclusion of my practicum experience, where I had the incredible opportunity to serve as the principal of Einstein High School over the past couple of months. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to this community, to the school, and especially to Mr. Brown for allowing me to step into this role. I will always look back fondly on my experiences the past two months.
Our students continue to impress, and I thoroughly enjoyed serving them through the lens of a principal.
Mr. Brown is excited to return to Einstein on Tuesday – I think he was starting to miss us. I will continue to support the school and the community by sending out our weekly newsletters for the remainder of the school year. I will also be working alongside Mr. Brown as I continue my professional development through the internship program.
As always, if you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school.
Best,
Justin Krop
Principal Intern.

Calling all Einstein Students and Families:
Navigating the College Admissions Process Online Course starts Feb. 5!
Einstein families in past years have applauded this seminar as an extremely helpful introduction to the college application process. Kenny Sholes (the instructor) is approachable and works well with students. He is knowledgeable on the current trends and best practices in the admissions process. In addition, he shares techniques and tools that students and families can use in their own college search.
PTSA works with Foundry to sponsor the seminar series, making it free of cost to Einstein students and families. Sessions are held via Zoom and recorded. We are hoping to have Spanish translation available. The course has particular relevance for sophomores and juniors (class of ‘26 and ‘27), but is open to all grade levels.
The series will start on Wednesday, February 5th and run the following 3 Wednesdays: February 12th, 19th, and 26th. Each seminar will run from 7:30-9:30 PM.

Wednesday, February 5: What Are Colleges Looking For? (Hint: You Have It)
Wednesday, February 15: Understanding the Process and Getting Organized
Wednesday, February 22: Where Are You Now? (And What Are You Looking For)
Wednesday, February 29: Effective College Essays and Other Application Considerations

If you also include your email, he will also send out reminders for each session and follow up emails. To add your name and email to the list:
