TARDY TRACKING
The school has decided that the most streamlined way to track tardies is once per qtr. At the end of each qtr, tardies will be tallied up and detention will be assigned on the second week after the qtr ends. Once we know who will be serving detention an email will go out to those families letting them know. The last qtr of the school year will be handle a little differently as school will be officially out for summer, more to come as we enter the last qtr. Thank you.
Reminder - Every 3 tardies is equal to one detention to be served. If your student has 6 tardies, they will serve two detentions, and so on.
GOING ON VACATION?
Soak up some rays for us 😊! Just a friendly reminder - In alignment with our school's mission to personalize learning; and as stated in our school handbook, we cannot provide students with work prior to vacations. We continually adjust our lessons, plans, and assignments to meet the needs of our students. Providing work prior to a student's absence is not advantageous for this reason.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES TUITION ASSISTANCE FOR 24/25 (CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR)
THE SCHOOL FILLS OUT THE APPLICATION ON BEHALF OF THE FAMILY AND SUBMITS IT. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS OPPORTUNITY BASED ON THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW:
The Department of Catholic Schools is now accepting applications for 2024-2025 Special Circumstance Tuition Assistance. The Special Circumstance Tuition Assistance Award is for families who have experienced a significant impact on their financial situation this school year.
Among the circumstances that we will consider for a special tuition assistance grant are:
· Loss of employment or work reduction within the current school year.
· Significant health issues of a household member.
· Death of a member of the family’s household.
· Other circumstances which significantly impair the family’s ability to earn income.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to assist everyone and will decline an application based upon:
· Increase in household bills or tuition increase.
· Anything that is inclusive of everyday occurrences for most applicants.
· Families who did not make any tuition payments this year.
These awards will only be paid to cover tuition balances for this (2024-2025) school year. If you have a family who has fallen on a significant financial hardship this year, please complete the attached application, and email the application and supporting documentation to tas@aod.org.
Please note the following.
- Special circumstance applications are to be completed by the school / parish only, not the family.
