St. Patrick Catholic School
Principal's Newsletter- May 16, 2024
Dear families,
Wednesday, May 15, was a remarkable day at St. Patrick Catholic School where we celebrated our school Mass at 8:30 a.m. with our kindergarten students, and our 8th grade Mass at 5:15 p.m. These Masses marked a significant milestone for two groups of students. Our kindergarten students joyfully led their first-ever school Mass, while our 8th graders celebrated and led their final Mass as students of St. Patrick Catholic School.
For our kindergarteners, this school Mass was a momentous occasion, marking the beginning of their journey in leading Masses. It was heartwarming to see their enthusiasm and reverence as they took on this important role, guided by our supportive staff and older students.
On the other end of the spectrum, our 8th graders celebrated their last Mass with us as students of St. Patrick Catholic School at a special Mass dedicated to them. This Mass was a touching moment for them, as they reflected on their time here at St. Patrick School and prepared for the next chapter in their lives, both academically and spiritually.
What made this day truly special was witnessing the full circle of the Mass celebration. Our kindergarteners, just beginning their Mass experiences within the Catholic faith, stood together with our 8th graders, who have grown and matured in their understanding and practice of the Catholic faith during their time here. It was a beautiful reminder of the continuity and growth that occurs within our school community.
As we say goodbye to our 8th graders, we send them off with our blessings and prayers for a bright future filled with the light of their faith. And as our kindergarteners embark on this new journey of faith, we look forward to watching them grow and develop into strong, compassionate individuals.
Blessings,
Mr. Wiebers
