Dear Muddy Creek Families,
We are excited to share what the PTO is doing to support our school community and how you can get involved!
PTO Goals:
- Build Community: Fostering connections among families and staff through school events.
- Fundraising: Bridging the funding gap to support our programs and staff.
- Support Staff: Ensuring our staff feels both emotionally and financially supported.
- Our goal for this year is to raise $30,000 to support our students, staff and school programs.
Upcoming Events & How You Can Help:
Dine Out Nights:
Come to eat and share with friends! Be sure to mention that you are there for the Muddy Creek Dine Out!
- Pastini: Thursday, September 26th (All day)
- Common Fields: Monday, October 14th (Includes a raffle; we need volunteers and raffle items!)
Join us for Coco on Friday, November 1st at 5:30 PM. Looking for concessions helpers.
Winter Concert: Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 5th. Looking for concessions helpers.
Auction: We are planning an auction in February for Valentine's Day. We welcome donations of goods or services!
Volunteer Opportunities:
We need Classroom Coordinators - one for each grade and volunteers for various events (like the movie night and winter concert). If you can help, please let us know!
Donations Needed:
We are seeking items for our October 14th raffle at Common Fields and also for our Valentine's Auction. We are also seeking donations for specific projects, such as fast-growing, native trees that we can plant to replace those removed this summer. We're also seeking donations of food items to sell at movie/concert events. If you know of local vendors or would like to donate food suitable for sale, please let us know!
Ideas and Support:
We are open to new ideas and innovative pathways to help us reach our 3 goals. Please reach out if you have new ideas or if you'd like to join the PTO. The impact can be big if we all work together, and the commitment is minimal:
- 1 hour meeting a month plus
- 1-3 hours a month working on PTO projects outside meeting time
