Dear Heath Brook Families:
On July 24, 2024 Tewksbury Public Schools School Committee approved a change of hours for both the Dewing and Heath Brook Schools.
The revised start and end times are as follows.

Preschool Extension through Community Services
Will run from 8:45-3:15. If enrolled, your child will attend the CSPK program during the times they are NOT in the Integrated Preschool Program.

Please contact AlphaBEST directly if your child needs to participate in the AlphaBEST
before-school or after-school programs.
Getting to/from school:Our drop off and pick up procedures will likely need to be revised as we implement this change. We will share this information with all families as soon as it is finalized. We STRONGLY encourage familes in K/1 to access the free bus transportation. We will have dedicated K/1 buses. An adult must be present at the bus stop in order for a child to be dropped off at the end of the day. The K/1 Bus Schedule will be available closer to the start of the school year.
If your child receives van transportation as part of their IEP, all Heath Brook Students will be transported together, regardless of grade.Tewksbury Transit will contact families directly when times have been arranged. As a reminder, your child must have an age/size appropriate car seat or booster seat and parents/guardians must install and remove these seats daily in accordance with the installation requirements of your child’s seat.
There is no additional transportation for PK students.
Additional Schedule Change Information
For K-4 students, the School Committee has approved six additional early releases during the school year. I have attached the Tewksbury Public Schools calendar to this email. Please make note of these dates on your personal calendars. It is important to note that this schedule change DOES NOT impact preschool. On these dates, preschool will run as scheduled and there will NOT be an early release for PK students.
The additional Early Release Days for K-4 are below. (PM PK will be in session and DLC preschool times remain the same)

All other early release days on the calendar will include preschool and there will be no PM preschool. PK DLC early dismissal will be at 11:00 The calendar is attached: 2024-2025 TPS Calendar
