CALENDAR UPDATE

August Leaves
The Tree of Possibilities is more than just a logo at Strive Center! We celebrate all the little victories - for every new skill a child learns, we give him a leaf or an apple sticker to put on his very own Tree of Possibilities poster. We keep one poster here at the center, next to his table, and one goes home, so families can celebrate all the little victories too. In August, our learners acquired 352 new skills. That brings our total for 2024 to 2,071 new skills!
Autism Alliance of Michigan Zoo Walk - Free Tickets!
Our 4 pack of tickets has been raffled off and a lucky Strive family will be enjoying the zoo on September 21st! If you did NOT receive an email, then you did not win the tickets. Thank you to all our families who entered the raffle.
Autism Alliance of Michigan Zoo Walk - Join our Team
Strive Center for Autism has a team for the zoo walk - and all are welcome to join! Signing up for the walk requires a $10 donation per person (children under 2 are free) and you get early entry to the zoo on September 21st. This fundraiser benefits Autism Alliance of Michigan and includes full-day admission to the Detroit Zoo, an autism resource fair with 50+ vendors, an on-stage program, a united community walk, arts & crafts, and entertainment for all ages. Updating Michigan's Autism State Plan
This information was shared by the Michigan Autism Council. Please complete the survey if you are able. Link below or here.
We need your input!

We invite you to complete a survey to inform Michigan’s Autism State Plan priorities. The surveys are listed below and may be accessed through the Michigan Autism State Plan webpage. We encourage you to complete the surveys by September 16, 2024.
